YAY for me! .... and my shop isn't done being built yet and my garage bays are already too full. Guess it waits for a couple months before I pull the supercharger off and replace all those stupid plastic parts. I'll probably see if I can repipe it using braided stainless steel teflon lines and AN fittings, or whatever it needs. No sense putting OEM plastic back on it. That'd be plain stupid.
PLEASE tell us, what you did, and use, if successful!

TIA, Hermann

Just shy of 70,000 miles. Original water pump also. Only thing that I got bit by was a fouled injector. Shyte... I should have had the lines changed while it was torn apart. DAMMIT!

Default New Top!

Picked up my ‘09 XK from Advanced Auto Tops in Edgemont, PA with my new GAHH top installed. My rear window adhesive failed so badly that there was only about 12” still holding on the top of the window. The top was showing some wear and I plan to keep this car for awhile so went ahead with replacement rather than trying to repair the window. Very happy with the result…

I like the red on the engine cover, now you need to keep the theme by painting the calipers.
I might paint mine this winter.:-)

For me, I pulled over on an exit ramp off the interstate yesterday to take the following picture. Helluva milestone, and hopefully many more years of (relatively) trouble free cruising ahead:

Nice! I was going to do the same a few weeks ago on my VA trip, but totally spaced out and let the moment pass! Haha

I would guess that sometime in November I will hit 200,000 miles on mine, I'll have to remember to take a shot of it. What a GREAT ride it's been, far and away the best automobile I've ever owned in 52 years of driving. Don't know if there will ever be anything good enough to replace it.

Finally got around to swapping out the adaptive 5.0 front struts that I had put in my 2007 XK about four years ago, and installed proper 4.2 CATS versions that I picked up on eBay last year. Night and day difference! No longer have a bouncy front end, and feeling like I’m riding in a truck.
Now it’s time to plan a road trip!

I didn't do a danged thing. I sure do wish I would have gone for a nice, long ride today though, as it was pretty good weather still and winter is looming.

Cool I SOLD it.....

I hope I am in the right thread, because this actually happened yesterday. I sold my 2007 XK convertible. I can hear all the sad sighs. But not to worry, I bought a 2014 XKR Dynamic Coupe to fill the void. All I can say is OH.. MY.. GOD!!
Coming home from the dealer I had to pass a few semis. Passing them was easy, the hard part was keeping it from taking off. Amazing and just a bit scary. It has so much power, I can't imagine why anyone would need to tune them or change the pulley to make them MORE powerful. I don't know the full history of this new (to me) car, but if it is stock. That is more than enough for me.

New 2014 XKR on the left and Just sold XK base on the right.

I will change my signature soon, after I get the right photo.

Didn't anyone notice that it wasn't a Porsche?

I'll start it off. Over the winter, I had my wheels powder coated. I let them sit in storage for a few months and ultimately, they weren't the color I ordered so I'm having them redone. Original shop is refunding me.

This what I did with mine and put custom made 22s on it that fits my Jaguar center caps😏Oh and excuse the language cause i couldn't help myself😎Yes,My mind is on a higher plane when it comes to style and looking very fancy.
