What did you do to your X150 today?

I also had to search when I first needed a filter wrench as 'normal' places didn't have the right size. I finally ended up ordering from a NAPA and got it a few hours later. And whattaya know, it was the right size but was still loose enough to slip. I wrapped some heavy plastic around the housing and it worked well enough to be used.
Maybe I'll mill a good one out of a block of aluminum.

Exhaust Tips
I've always liked dual exhaust tips and have installed them on almost every car I've owned. Had these installed yesterday. They're actually a bit larger than I originally imagined but, the ones I had bought on ebay looked ridiculously small in the opening. Stock "back box" still but thinking about replacing the mid mount muffler with an "X" or "H" pipe for a bit more rumble.

They look fantastic always found the stock xkr tips to be on the small side and do not fill the valance up .
In regards to X-pipe vs H-pipe ,
The best way I can describe it is the x-pipe has a higher pitched sound more like a flat planed crank powered vehicle, whilst the H-pipe has a deeper rumble note to it .

I got ambitious and pulled the headlamps from the XKR to clean the projector lenses. That didn't go well as there is scarcely any access to the backside. I did manage to lose a washer hose clip and break a headlamp tab, so it wasn't a total loss. 🫤 after that, I gave her a much needed bath ,which revealed new parking lot dings and a bumper scuff. It's been a day! At least the weather was great!

I did the Mina Gallery on MY14 XK Touring. That has the NA/5.0 liter engine. You get the quad exhaust, the rear valance and it is a true 2x4, not just tips. Two pipes come into a smaller muffler and for pipes come out. These are all aircraft stainless, polished and fit exactly. they have center pipes too or you can make your own or leave the ctr silencer in. I left mine in. It has a nice burble at Idle and a good roar at start up and when the right pedal is pressed down hard.

No point on the forced induction they run out of steam at 6500rpm different with the n/a - more rpm = more bhp .
These engines share the same valve springs , valves as the AM 4.3 vantage (4.7 larger valves) and have also been tested up to 7500.
