Wheels - is chrome too much?

Like others above me have stated, chrome is a very personal thing.
It is interesting how much chrome changes a wheel. As an example, I'm not a fan of the chrome Sentas although I love the non-chrome Sentas. I think the Jupiters look better in chrome than the Sentas as they are a simpler design (it might also be that chrome on a 20" wheel is just too much for me). I still prefer the non-chrome Jupiters though. And I don't like the new XK wheel, but in chrome on a black XK I think it looks great...go figure...
One thing to note on the Sentas vs Jupiters is the imminent damage to the wheel on the 20" rims. I'm definitely staying away from 20" after reading quite a few posts about them. In S. California we unfortunately don't have the newest roads/freeways.
In sum, do what you want and enjoy!

So is there really that big of a difference between 19's and 20's? I have 22's on my Tahoe. I know it's a truck, but I haven't had any probelms with them at all and far as damage. I drove my Tahoe across country to NYC, (pot hole city), and a few things got knocked loose, but the rims held up. (amazingly). I didn't think there would be much of a problem between 19's an 20's on the XKR. Maybe I was wrong.

As for looks, the consumer has spoken and large wheels dominate. I have 19" and think it is the best between looks and ride.
