Hi, I'm in the process of rebuilding the front / bumper after a minor collision on my XK.
All the parts that came were mounted except for the two inserts. Does anyone know where it should be mounted?
Will you help? The parts dealer can't help me.
All hope in you.

Reason: Add 'RESOLVED' to thread title
There's a reason we ask all members to put vehicle details in their forum Signature ......
....... it's also useful to include Location because Jaguar specifications vary across World markets. For example, the US doesn't have Pedestrian Impact Protection fitted but Europe does.
Check my signature. Everyone can see immediately which Model Year I have and my Location confirms it's RHD to European specification. You could have anything from a 2006 4.2 to a 2014 5.0. We just can't tell.
I have this drawing. On its basis, all parts were ordered.
Unfortunately, the parts dealer only sells them and has no idea about the assembly.
So where you wrote it does not match, although the drawing suggests so.
greetings
Jack
Here is a picture of our XKR 2008 when I removed the bumper to paint the grill and change the intercooler pump.
The 2 foam parts can be seen on the front cross member. Could be slightly different on the facelifted model.
XKRAU Your photo convinced me that it was for the pre-lift model. For you, they fit perfectly on this beam.
There was nowhere to mount it for me. I returned to the store.
Bumper on. Everything is perfect.
The car candy, although it still needs some cosmetics
The engine is great - it's my first Jaguar - no other cars come close to it when it comes to sensations.
