Default Where to go drag racing

Well at a drag strip. But where?
Since my first 1/4 mile run last year in central Wisconsin I have become somewhat bitten. I modified my 2007 XKR with a Alex Jag tune/pulley/catch can and modified the catalytic convertors. The car pulls nicely but traction is sporadic. I still need a dedicated set of rims and drag slicks and a LSD. So as I near retirement I think I would like to travel to various drag strips around the country. Which drag strip in terms of altitude/temperature will give my girl the best shot at 11's. Fastest so far is 12.565 with an old man reaction time. This was without the catch can or pulley.
I would think at the right time of the year and the right altitude I could do much, much better. Any other mods that will benefit my times?
Thank you in advance for your time.

with a blower i don't know whether ambient air density at altitude makes much difference. cooling the compressed air in the manifold probably matters more than altitude selection does, but i guess higher is colder by default. it's thinner. others here can tell you about water/methanol injection better than i could.

tires will probably make the biggest difference overall. short of full-on drag slicks, there are drag radials that are street-legal and won't immediately get you killed when you're caught out on a highway in some gentle rain. if you choose to go with those, you'll want a track that does some prep. if you stay on street tires, stick to tracks that are no-prep. of course if you commit to towing gear with you and always swapping wheels only at the track, enjoy the full slicks and stay away from no-prep tracks! fiddling a lot with a rear end can be a money pit. you don't want a snapped axle on your first day out.

also watch out that you don't overgas the catch can and splatter oily water all over the inside of your engine bay, and potentially directly onto the track you're trying to haul *** down, immediately in front of those rear tires. maybe get it completely empty before each pass until you have a handle on how quickly it fills up, and check the fittings. pick a system designed for head gasket failure or even engine failure, i.e. full intake manifold pressure in the can and its lines or damn near close to it, not a system designed around normal crankcase pressure.

Any track that's closer to sea level will give you better times. As you know I got other performance goodies for you! intake , lower temp thermostat, larger tb, and other things . I will provide a Nice recipe for you plus we can push the tune a level up after you do certain modifications to match. If my heavier convertible 08 Xkr is doing mid 12's at high altitude tracks we can get you down to low 12s or possibly high 11s
