White smoke from the right side of the engine. Help please!!!
Hi guys, I have attached a video of the car, it is a Jaguar XKR 4.2 2008. High mileage 130k miles but well maintained ie up to date service, supercharger service etc, new MAFs, new Ignition coil, iridium spark plugs. Basically newly serviced.
Car starts up first time, no smoke from exhaust what so ever, idles well, doesn’t over heat ( right side of engine feels a bit hotter compared to left) but white smoke is seen on the right side of the engine. Maybe bad PCV? Gasket leak? I’m not sure. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

That thing that's clamped down that connects the 2 hoses in the middle on your air intake is melting and i seen the same thing before it completely melted and started smoking like crazy.I been warning people a lot about the 2007-2009 model XK that all come equipped with that cheap part on them. You might want to change it off and i'm surprised yours lasted that long and mine was burnt out before 80k miles. If i were you,i would change it out to an aftermarket part.I bought a part at O'Reilly's and got my lil bro to clamp it on for me since he a certified car mechanic and it seem like it works better than the official Jaguar part that felt like it gave me a horsepower bonus.

Hi! thank you for your reply. I have attached two photos.w hitch clamp is burning? Sorry just wanting to clarify to make sure I can get it sorted correctly.
Barry, Do you recall what the part you purchased from O'Reilly's was called? The left side on my 2009 XKR literally broke in two and fell down into the lower engine cover. My mechanic found it and "glued" the two halves together when I had the car in for another issue. He said that he was unable to find the original part. His "fix" appears to be working so far, but.......... Thanks.

I would have to stop by an O'Reilly's tomorrow to show you by taking a pic of it and posting it here, cause i can't remember the name of the part to save my life.I know what it looks like once i come across it in the store
Sorry it took like 3 or 4 days but i been having a lot of VA appointments. But i took pictures at an O'Reilly's of the part and what it's called.Examine your middle intake for damage and if you find it,take that OEM part off and clamp 1 of these down on it and you'll never have that problem again. They got them in all different sizes.I think i used the red 1 to clamp on my 2007 XKR Vert
