My XE is my first two tone interior (charcoal and red). I could take it or leave it. Thought it was neat at first and now don't care either way. If it were a bespoke car, I would keep all the same color leather except maybe for some pieces that could reflect heavily in the windshield. I don't mind mixed materials.

When I re-upholstered my BMW, I changed my beige interior to a two toned interior. I liked it better.

I will add that the interior on that BMW may have been the worst interior ever. Door cards fell apart, seats fell apart, terrible quality and workmanship on what I considered a high-end car.

Default Custom interior for my '08 XK

Interior design is a matter of taste, and some purists may not like to change the original. I loved the interior of my new XK, but after a few years, decided the monotone beige leather could use a little pizazz. The custom-upholstery shop did a great job, and I get a lot of complements on it.

Who else but a British Motor Car Company would claim that the car's interior was of Scottish Black Angus Highland Cattle Leather?? Oh and looking at the original spec sheet of my 2006 XK, that Burled Walnut interior trim, that some of you seem to hate,
was an $2,800. accessory . Not bad fo a car that had a list price of just over $80K

Agreed. And I'd be surprised if he doesn't have a matching pair of alligator skin cowboy boots. They may have been the inspiration for his incredible custom interior.

My son lives in Dallas and explained that you're considered to be a deplorable immigrant and subject to deportation if you don't own any cowboy boots.

Default Newton's Third Law of Physics

Here's a good example of Newton's Third Law of physics. If you don't remember it, Newton's third law is: "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

THE ACTION

THE REACTION

Default If it's Not Easy, It's Queasy!

What does it tell you about that green interior when Kermit the Frog, who has endured a lifetime of being green, had this reaction when he saw it?

I think this post has turned into the ugly interior contest. Although the caddy might be voted the dullest.
