Window regulator? Scratching tint :/
Hey guys,
I have had the window tinted twice with the same results. The first time I put the window down more than half, the front area scratches the tint clean off. After that it tears and then I am left with what you see in the pic.
Also, when putting the window all the way down it acts slow and sometimes goes down (almost like a safety) when I press up. I took the door card off and it seems the regulator is scratching the tint.
Do I need a new regulator? I really have no experience with window regulator / arms.
What should I pay to have that fixed?

It looks to me like the soft pads that guide your window are either maladjusted too tight or have dirt particles embedded. Happened to my Ford pickup...... the windows started to scratch where the pads are, quite badly in fact. I took the door card off and cleaned a bunch of sandy granules out of the pads and all the other parts that touch the glass. There was a bunch. Now I wish I had done it years ago as the glass is now so bad it really should be replaced.
