"The first Bentley capable of running on both petrol (gasoline) and biofuel (E85 ethanol), its 6.0 litre W12 engine was rated 630 PS (463 kW; 621 bhp) at 6,000 rpm and 800 N·m (590 lbf·ft) at 1,700-5,600 rpm - using either fuel." (The ISR car has 631 BHP.)

How many other cars can deliver these types of numbers? Your Gramps would be proud.
It's not the performance but the styling of the car. I just don't like the overall look as I think it looks suitable for an older gentlemen. I do like the seats but that's about it. We all have different tastes so there is no right or wrong.

How old are you? Here in 'fobby' land, all the nouveau riche Chinese offspring ('fuerdai') are all driving new Benteleys and Maseratis. Maybe that's why I don't like these cars anymore lol. I also used to like Range Rovers for their exclusivity until they became as common as Bentleys. Lol. Jaguars are still a relatively rare sight, see maybe 1 XJ or F-Type a month.

If I ever inherited a factory in China that sells to Wal-Mart, I would buy a used RR Ghost ($120k, MSRP $250k) or a Ferrari California ($100k, MSRP $200k). Never buy new even when I'm rich.

You see these now and then around Hollywood/BH, and I have to say I really like the look. Out of my price range but they don't look "stodgy" at all.

Come to San Gabriel Valley where I work. Bentleys are a dime a dozen. I prefer RR Ghost.

I'm not impressed with the styling of the Bentley's. Just doesn't press my buttons.

The Carbon Fiber is a bit too much for my taste, though it would be worse if it was all wood. Otherwise I like the interior. The exterior doesn't seem to know what it wants to be.

There are so many Bentleys with beautiful interiors that it's kind of disappointing to see one with such an unattractive one. I hate the red carbon fibre, find it ergonomically poorly designed with most of the controls "hidden" behind the gear shifter, and really dislike everything except the seats, which are very nice (I'm doing something like this for my Pantera restoration). For me, it just doesn't have that look of opulence that you expect of a quarter million dollar car!

Agreed tberg. I should have been specific. The seats grabbed my attention and remind me a jahummer's work on his XK.

Hey DGL, did you ever find your ideal XKR-S?

On a funny note, this one is still available for you, I think it was listed at $74.9K then, and now... Used 2012 Jaguar XK For Sale | Latham NY

Look up Jaguar Sport Intercontinental Challenge on youtube sometime.

This was a seperate project meant to be a street legal version of the Le Mans Jaguar.

The XJ220 was a road going supercar from the start.

I think these listings are for cars salespeople/owner drive. They inflate asking price beyond any reason knowing it won't sell, then drive them with dealer's plates without paying sales taxes, title fees, or insurance (other than dealer's insurance).
