Default Wiper arm washer assembly

Does anyone know how to remove the washer ***'y from the driver's side wiper arm on 2004 XKR? I am replacing a broken wiper arm and would like to reuse the undamaged washer and hose, etc.

Look at the side facing the hood and you should see a small opening.

Place a flat bladed screwdriver in the opening and very carefully pry it open.

Having just looked at mine it seems the only way to get it off.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Jim! That's kinda what i suspected but it just didn't seem right for a high-end vehicle...i'll give it a try.
