Wish me luck (and advice if you're got any)...

That kind of doesn't give us more information. I guess we would need to know what codes came up and how they determined it was a "fuel injector" problem. How many or was it fuel pressure or electrical or ,or ,or. When you talked to the service manager did he give you a description of what the problem was other then fuel injector. Also I would ask to see the condition of the parts removed as well as asking them what they will do if this does not solve the problem. I like to get all of the details I can even if it is a warranty issue.

UPDATE
So the injector's covered (and they're going to swap out ALL of the plugs, which doesn't make sense to me, but I'll take it). They're insisting that that's the problem. We shall see. In related good news, I'd checked in on a thread here about steering wheel play (the car has a little more than my previous XK) and, sure enough... bushings, which are fluid-filled rubber, are apparently both leaking, which was new to me. Anyway, also covered. They tacked on some broken hose -- not covered, of course -- so about $230 for what I'm told is about $1800 worth of work.
They also mentioned that both rear plate bulbs were out and suggested a reflash of memory (??) before replacing, and apparently neither of my LED rear fog lights work, again an electronics issue. I opted to pass on both repairs, as neither were covered. I'll swap out the plate bulbs and see what comes of it. As for the rear fog LED's, I'm open to suggestions.
Feeling good about getting that warranty....
