I think it only looks OK because from the lowered angle you can't see that there's no visual delineation between the colors. Does it fade to black or just a line where the black is taller than the white? I think it looks dumb because the line looks miss laid where it goes over the 'rain gutter' hump between the quarter and the rear hatch. It also makes the car look like a bland conventional coupe instead of a swoopy hatchback with gorgeous curves. White and black colors hide body lines so it looks 2d in the picture.

I was wondering how they would mod the bonnet or would they flare the fenders . Then the spoiler or tail lights. Maybe an aero package and then wheels and tires. Kindig would most likely do his flush door handles. Also how about the side mirrors . Next would be a interior make over with a new binnacle maybe with a full gauge set . Then consider the gearbox , manual or 8 sp auto. Just curious to see some out of the box thinking .

They made it look like a piece of crap Toyota or Nissan ricer. My step son does that to every car he gets and then destroys it by driving it like crap. I see NOTHING good about those mods. Now, keep in mind I come from a car family, my husband builds hot rods and I have never left a car the same as I bought it. we have won several car shows, my XJS took home 2 trophies in its first show. But other than embellishing a few minor things on my XK, there isn't much I want to do with it other that DRIVE it.

Not a Toyota or Nissan, it reminds me of a Mitsubishi Eclipse when I look at the thumbnail.

mrsclark hit it squarely between the eyes, they are trying to make it look like a 'ricer' because its all they know and its easy.

Pearls before...
