Also a few more miles up the road is the Kingston waterfront which also has some great restaurants.

That sounds great. I will definitely visit those areas of interest. Any particular restaurant that you recommend?

Gentlemen;

4 miles south of Poughkeepsie, on 9W is the Ship Lantern Inn. This place is wonderful! Great food, great service, neat décor; especially in the bar.

I have that same feeling every time I look at my XKR... euphoria would best describe it. I don't think my XKR will ever get "old" to me. I can't remember a day where someone hasn't complimented me on the car, be it at the gas station, home depot, a restaurant, pretty much everywhere. These cars are definitely a work of art!

I have owned my 07 XKR for 17 months and 12,000 miles and I still cannot stop looking at it. I bought this car as a flip but I'm not sure it's going anywhere. This car rocks...

Right on boys. My 07 XK has been gone for over 2 years now and I still regard it as the best looking car, with the possible exception of my XKE, I ever owned.
I would still have it but I just "aged" out of GT cars. Dang!

Thank you so much for saying that, it means so much coming from an XKE owner. As an impressionable young boy, I could not sleep after first seeing the XKE- then nearly 40 years later it happened again to a lesser degree when I saw the XK in a showroom window at night.
