If you get a warranty with it, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. The warranty will protect you from any expensive repairs given the use.
And is 52,500 really *high mileage*? I'd say 70K is high mileage. 52K is mid range in my book.
But, I guess as far as value is concerned you have to go with what NADA or Kelly Blue Book (etc) say...

I'm always leery of buying used sports cars, especially ones with reputations for being fast/powerful, such as Mustang GT, Corvette, Porsche, Mitsu EVO, and the XKR. Chances are good that the PO drove the hell out of it but may not have taken very good care of it.
Keep in mind that extended warranty packages don't cover EVERYTHING.
Unless you have access to the car's maintenance records, I would be very cautious. You want to enjoy the car for the next couple of years, not merely drive it back and forth from the repair shop...
Good luck!

I don't think that is high mileage for a 4 tear old car, bout average where I am.
You say that you would sell it in 2 - 2.5 years, what kind of miles will you be doing?
For me it is the number of owners that I would look at, one owner since new with full history is good.
8 owners who have all had a play with it, not good.

In January 2010, I purchased a 2007 XKR with 59,000 miles on it. Sounds like a lot but after researching the car I found that the PO used the car primarily for highway driving for business. He was trading in for a new XKR. Also got the Jaguar extended warranty. For the price it was well worth it

If you don't drive it much, in a few years it will be considered a low mileage car and maybe not so hard to sell. You are getting a car with less than half its life used up at a price of maybe 40% of what the car cost new. Have it checked out by a reliable non-dealer jaguar specialist and if you also get a warranty, even better.
