Oh to be 50 years younger. This would have made a great project to do a complete restro-mod. Having to remove all of the electronics is the key to that here. It gives you a clean sheet of paper to work with. Now days with all of the various engine options along with complete wiring harnesses it makes for an easier conversion. Same with either going with other transmissions either 8 speed auto boxes or DTC units. Then with the large arrays of instrument packages coupled with infotainment systems it would be a complete new beast. As far as the base wiring I'm sure all of the normal stuff can be done (lights ) without to many issues. Now as for restoring this with Jaguar stuff that would be a challenge and I wish the guy the best. Part of the problem here is was this a freshwater or salt water flood. Was it flooded inside or submersed. Then again do we assume that all of the wiring harness needs to be removed and thrown out. Interesting to follow.

So if it is the car at the top of the thread, it’s a Canadian car with fresh water flood damage. Does the VIN match that car?
