X150 XJR 5.0SC headlight LHD adjustment
Hi all
Car is RHD but being drive abroad. Watched a vid on YouTube (only thing I could find) where a guy shows how to remove the caps at the back of the lights and pushes the levers down so they in LHD configuration. DId that - one side easy, other used endoscope. What I found was that from sitting in the car the right side headlight lever was up so pushed it down as per the video. The left side was already down. However when we parked it against a wall the left side beam pointed up and the right down - the reverse of what I need!!
Any ideas?! Its pretty urgent as the car is leaving the UK on Monday morning.

An impressive list of vehicles. Unfortunate that the most important information (the Model Year) is missing.
For a 2007, both the levers should be set downwards for right-hand traffic countries:
Owner's Handbook - 2007
By 2010 this had changed to one UP and the other DOWN although JLR failed to confirm which was appropriate for right-hand traffic countries other than advising the vehicle was delivered correctly set for the country in which it was sold:
Owner's Handbook - 2010
It became a lot easier with later model years where no adjustment is required:
Owner's Handbook - 2014

Would you know what year they changed to no adjustment required? I’ve a 2013, but my owners manual has no mention of the driving abroad settings that have been posted. But then, strangely it has no reference to the fog lamp button either. I’ve been onto the Jaguar site & downloaded the owners manual, but again I can’t see a mention of the driving abroad section in there either. Im hoping it was a the 2012 facelift.
thanks
thanks
