XK style gets another life- as New Maserati
The XK styled, proportioned and powered new Maserati Alfieri has been confirmed.
(Be glad they can finally stop asking you if its a Supra, or worse gone into oblivion like so many others)

I saw the Alfieri in the flesh when it debuted at the L.A. Auto Show six years ago. It was gorgeous and I posted about it on this forum then. All of the rumors I have seen about the car is that it will most likely be an all electric car and not before 2022, at best. I'll believe it when I see one in a showroom.

IMHO, this 10-year old concept car should be the next XKR, and be available in hybrid and fully-electric AWD versions.

I was hoping the F-Type would have been built based on this. Chev is stepping up with the C8 Corvette to build a mid-engine sports car at a great price. The F-Type is full of parts from the parts bin, If you're going to build a flagship sports car build it right--use your best within reasonable costs. The C-X75 was never intended to be a GT.

In older Maserati's, they use to Spackle over some seems. Maybe this was done on the show car?

Yes, that's a very pretty body design that's simply too familiar. It's far from being unique, and the proportions remind me of several different GT coupes including the Jaguar F-Type, Maserati GT, Aston-Martin Vantage, Ferrari California, Mercedes SLS, and the old Porsche 928. And why would you design an electric car with a grille meant for an internal combustion engine?
Imitation may be the most sincere form of flattery, but that won't stop plaintiffs from lining up to sue Piech for design infringement.

Many EV's still have radiator style heat exchangers. This is for the new Porsche Taycan:
"The thermal management system consists of a networked line system with a coolant radiator, three coolant pumps, six coolant valves, two fans and ten coolant temperature sensors. This is supplemented by the linked components from the air-conditioning system with a climate condenser, a separate evaporator (chiller) and a heat exchanger for air-conditioning/cooling."
