Just a regular XK for me... I don't hate anything about it. I think some people would be put off by the tech interface, as its way behind pretty much every other car on the market right now (my wife just got a new ford escape for work, and even its screen / interface is way way ahead of my car's). It bothers me that the car has the proprietary ipod jack but no aux input.

Those are less-than-minor issues for me though. For me its not about the tech or trying to impress people with all the "stuff" the car can do. Its the first car that I've owned that I'm not at all tired of owning. Coming up on a year now, and I'm somewhere around 11k miles, and I still have to say... a car is just a material posession. But as material posessions go, its a pretty freaking nice one.

 

Navigation is the worse in the market

 

The image from the rear camera is washed out on a sunny day rendering it useless. Otherwise I love the car.

Aftter using both Audi and Lexus OEM units of similar generation, Jaguar should rightfully be embarrassed by its choice.

No it's not, I had a Aston Martin Vantage before the XKR, the Aston nav is shocking!! I ended up sticking my Tom Tom over the nav screen LOL.

In fact stepping from the Aston into the Jag is like walking into the 21st century.

 

I kinda of agree and disagree. With Audi, it's like buying a shirt, they all look the same you just pick your size. The copy & paste design has no soul.

With the Jag you're buying soul but sacrifice a little technology. I think thats a good pay off.
The new F-Type looks like a huge advance in technology.
