XKR Proximity sensors

XKR Proximity sensors
I Have an '11 XKR and was thinking about adding two additional proximity sensors onto the lower bit of the front fascia. This would be a great front-end saving feature, as when one pulls up the the now standard concrete parking stops, the sensors shoot over and no longer "see" the concrete when you get close.
Has anyone tried this? Or any thoughts on it. Thanks

I agree, only one or two "extra" sensors (wired in parallel) to the two center sensors. Even just one centered, would do it, as you don't really need the left/right feedback, only straight ahead distance (via the beeping tone). Continuous beep seems to be at 12 inches from a sensor.
Myself, I don't watch the animated screen during head first parking, I'm craning my (6'2") neck to see over the hood, and not smash the front of the damn car, lol. Sometimes even getting out to look! It's a total guess right now.
