XKR-S color help...
I've been in the market for an XKR-S coupe for several months now. I'm finding it hard to decide on a color. I want to make sure that I select a color that I like but also wont diminish the marketability of the car if/when it comes time to part ways with it. Originally I was certain I only wanted one in FRB (French Racing Blue). As time goes on I've considered white, black, and gray. I've not had an opportunity to see all the colors in person, let alone side by side. I suspect both black and white will provide the greatest flexibility from a resale prospective but I'm still very keen on the FRB. My question to the group is, do you think FRB is a color that will hold up over time? And do you think it would have any impact on salability down the road?
I appreciate your input!

In the glass blowing business they say, "If you can't make it good, make it blue."
Blue, white, & then red are what I think are the iconic XKRS colors in order. The order I'd look for if I go for an XKRS next.
Not to sound crass, but go for the color that gives you a rise first. It's not like you are deciding between brown and pink....

That green looks awesome! For my few cents worth, when I see a black XK (as good as they look) I don't make out the curves as much as I might in a different colour (and I've had several black cars, so I'm not biased against it). I like white in the XK, it is "safe" and pretty easy to maintain. I think it looks ordinary in the f-type but suits the longer XK (just my opinion, apparently over here it is the most popular f-type colour). I like the FRB. My missus (who can be quite clever about these things) thinks it is a bit trendy and wont last. I think it might be more a guy thing. With the IRR, I ordinarily would dismiss red out of hand - I'm over 40 after all. But I think that red is perfect for the XK shape, it shows off the curves really nicely but is still classy. It looks better the longer you look at it, like the red on an aston. So I've decided that if I get another XK in the future, I'll throw caution to the wind and go red.

Tough, tough call. Red and white were equivalent to FRB in my book, the car's lines really seem to stand out. I would love to see the BRG in person, I have a hunch that it carries with it a little extra sense of Britishness. In the best sort of way. Personally, I just kept coming back to FRB...
Resale IMO is too difficult to predict. Get what YOU prefer.

Sinister, I like that...
I really like the blue too, but I LOVE the London Tan/Charcoal interior in my BRG car. It is gorgeous, really makes the interior look first class and the tan stitching on the dash is perfection. I much prefer it to the carbon look leather in the blue cars which seems to have more of sporty appearance.
In the end, it's all personal preference, and I am glad there are quite a few choices in this amazing car.
