Looks good, I would like to get a set of those myself.

On another note, got the Michelin Pilot Super Sports mounted today and they are a massive improvement. The 305s on the rear fit great and look awesome. So happy with these tires and a better alignment. Highly recommend.

New to the forum.

Also put a set of pilot super sports on my gt till the weather warms up for the Pirelli corsa that came with the car. Not sure if I should have but I did click the French racing blue on the poll because that was the color of my 12 XKRS I had before selling it.

They look great on the blue. Ties everything together. IMO if you change the side markers to clear they will give your car a cleaner look. They're relatively inexpensive too.

Thanks. I already order & receive a set of the euro clear side markers. I'll pull out the heat gun this weekend and get them installed.

Guys I just wanted to say that I got my car back from Jaguar and they replaced the front splitter and side-aero piece to my satisfaction (after cracking it driving slowly down an alignment rack). They also refunded me the cost of the alignment, filled up my tank with gas, and mounted/balanced my new tires for free.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sports are a very nice improvement over the stock P-Zero's. I went with 255's in the front (K2 7/32") and the 305's in the rear. Ordered them from tirerack.com and had them shipped directly to Jaguar. They got there in one day.

Grip is definitely enhanced. Combined with the better alignment, the car feels really good right now. I am very pleased and happy with my XKR-S. She is extremely responsive, super fast, handles great, looks amazing, and is comfortable and luxurious all at the same time. I just can't ask for much more than that.

Very cool, I have those same tires already in my order list on tirerack. Which alignment settings did you go with?

I referred to Maxima's thread...

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...nt-xkr-105853/

Basically try to get -1.5 to -2.0 camber in the front tires and set the front toe to zero.

The rear wheels set to 3/32" toe in on each side, so it would be 3/16" total toe. This is supposed to help some with oversteer. Camber is not adjustable in the rear.

Taking out the front toe makes the most difference I think. The camber adjustments were minimal but every bit helps.

Just the way it should be.

I'm glad you had them replace the front splitter. The part cost $3,000. I was looking at a 2013 Black XKR-S before going with my 2013 XKR. The dealer had the splitter bottom and sides painted black without telling me. I found out and with some other unsettling things I walked away.

Hi everyone,

I live in London and have owned a blue XKRS convertible for over a year. Been trying to tinker with it now. Wanted to install the newly launched XKRS GT's spoiler on my XKRS. Tried Jaguar themselves but they could not do it obviously and asked me to go outside. I've had no luck with Arden, Mansory, Gemballa, Hamann or Kahn etc.

Can anyone help with me with this or give any recommendation where I could go for this job?

Please reply to my email id: vedant_b4@hotmail.com

Thanks

Vedant Birla

If you after a spoiler the carbon fibre model is C2P25394 and you be looking at around £15,300.

If you wanting to fit one then the instructions are attached.

Just joining this thread as I am now the proud owner of a 2012 XKR-S! One question for other owners - does your 'S' have satellite radio? Was it an option in 2012? Thanks.

Congrats on your RS. I thought sat radio was standard on RS, but I could be wrong. If u go to menu on Audio settings, it should be there. You need a subscription for it to be active

Thanks Octurbo. Mine doesn't have it but I was curious if it was standard, an option or unavailable back then.

Congrats on your purchase. Maybe the sat module is bad. I don't believe that there was an audio option in regards to have or not to have sat radio. Should be standard on all XKR-S.
