After years of debate and finally doing the XKR-S rockers, I proceeded with the OEM XKR-S conversion plus the XKR-S GT carbon boot plinth with integrated camera and LED plate lamps.
I actually did this a few months ago but just now getting to posting a couple of pics:

Wow, looks fantastic!
Where did you get the rear spoiler and if aftermarket how is the quality and fitment.
Big thanks to Jahummer for even coming up with this idea!
I would've thought it to be prohibitively expensive, but in some bizarre twist of Jaguar pricing logic, XKR-S rocker moldings are surprisingly reasonable (less than half the price of standard XK moldings, go figure ) and bolt right on. It's a little hard to capture in photos, but in person the effect is pretty dramatic. My car didn't have the aero kit, so I added the front splitter from it in conjunction with the RS rockers, which I think look cleaner and more integrated than the side skirts from the actual aero kit. Very pleased with the end result!
Looking good!! My Speed Pack Rear Spoiler arrived from the UK yesterday, my RS Rockers are on the slow boat from Jaguar in the UK and are 3-4 weeks out, and my Speed Pack Front Splitter should be here next week! Then the agonizing wait for paint begins....so maybe in 5-6 weeks I will be able to post my own Speed Pack with RS Skirts pics too!!
Thanks to everyone for the pics that inspired me to take the plunge!
Does anyone have a good comparison of the RS side skirts compared to the aero kit side skirt extensions? It seems like one is just a full rocker panel, and the other is an add-on to the stock rocker that doesn't actually lower ground clearance. I have a few shots from the internet, but can't tell actual ground clearance difference. Anyone have experience? Are both options compatible with all model years?

The pictures of the "extensions" as you call them are of my car, and they are applied to the existing rockers. I purchased mine from Chris at Mina along with the front 3 piece splitter which we bondoed together to look like one piece. Although Chris does not show the items on the website any longer, he still has the molds and is willing to make them on request. As with most aftermarket body parts, they do need to be worked over a bit to make them fit nicely. My body shop did the fitment and they look very much like the speed pack option or the look of the XKR175 that came with those additions.
Wanted to help further clarify the different options for side skirts out there...
There is the standard design for '07-'12 XK, and 12+ XKR, which is the same part use in the Aerodynamic Pack (The Aero pack DOES NOT change the side skirts): C2P17190XXX C2P17191XXX
There is also a design for '07-'12 XKR and 12+ XK... for cars with the Speed Pack w/ Black Pack Option. The $1K price per side is likely because it includes the sill extension (Example VIN: SAJWA4GC0CMB45023)
JLM21878XXX
JLM21879XXX
There is the 'Speed Pack', which adds the 'extensions': These only come as a rocker 'assembly' from Jaguar. These are essentially the same as the package above, but the black pack is not required for these parts. This package is also a part of the dynamic pack. C2P26166XXX C2P26167XXX
Got the XKR-S side skirts in last week. Took a few pictures to compare to the standard skirts.
Material is high-quality unpainted ABS molded plastic. These do not come primed.
You can see how the splash shields (wheel well liners) are the same part, regardless of the skirt... the XKR-S skirts have a deeper lip to cover the extension.
The lip that goes along the skirt is about 25mm lower than the standard skirt., and sticks out about 12mm further.
