I'm
- it comes with the territory.
Part of my joy of ownership is to do whatever wrenching I still can and want to do. That includes washing and detailing. I do it because I still enjoy getting my hands dirty (but not too much). Nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment I get when I'm done and stand back and see the fruits of my efforts.
Don't misunderstand me. If my XKR needed paint correction, I'd pay a pro to do it right because it would turn out better than I could do it.
It's not about saving money; I can afford to pay someone else to do it. It's therapeutic; it keeps me young and it's cheaper than an psychiatrist!
Cheers!

She's going to get some serious work on the paint in a couple of problem areas. Seems like the previous owner wasn't as meticulous as one should be.
Once she's been restored to an appropriate baseline physically and mechanically, I have no one else to blame for all the owner induced problems I'm bound to have in the future. lol
