Which XKR Should You Buy?? - JAGUAR XKR 4.2 vs XKR 5.0 Comparison
Apologies if this has been mentioned before but the video is a only a few weeks old and I don't recall seeing it before. I think that some of the info is wrong, e.g. fuel tank size, but having owned both cars I can kind of see where he is coming from.

Well said! You had an outstanding teacher for philosophy, but ...
... not so great for grammar!
(Yes, I know it's a typo.)

I decided to watch it, notwithstanding the negative comments. I like to hear what people have to say and then decide for myself.
So, what do I think? There was nothing that I didn't already know, except for the different fuel tank capacities. His comparison was simplistic and incomplete, as he failed to discuss important differences introduced in each subsequent model year.
Is it worth watching? Sure, if you don't have anything better to do.

Trust, but verify.
A lie become more truthful the more often it's repeated, particularly if you want to believe it's true. There are more lies on the internet than dogs have fleas. I have no proof, but 80sRule's writing style makes me skeptical about who she claims to be.

After receiving a complaint, I've edited two posts in this thread to remove names of **** websites. It was a VIOLATION of the forum TERMS OF USE.
https://www.internetbrands.com/ibterms/
Section 2.a.(3) offensive content (including, without limitation, court ordered defamatory statements, threatening, hateful or pornographic content);
I have assumed it was simply intended as humour which inadvertantly crossed the line and have taken no further action against the member who posted or the other member who later quoted the post.
If I find it was advertising, that will be a very different matter.

I also don't really want anything from anyone here other than to talk cars; often because they have experiences with the cars I own, and cars I'd like to someday own. So despite you being sus, eh, feel free to not interact with me. Anywho, sorry for the distraction, lets go back to this video lacking meaningful insights.

Nice comeback, we're both from MI, love to run into you someday at the Jag Dealer in GR. My Dad also owned a gas station/garage in Holland, learned a lot there but at 76, just don't have the ability to crawl around and under cars anymore.
Stay safe.
Stay safe.

Honestly if you're down here, I'd be happy to meet up. I live on the north end of town (technically Plainfield Township), but the Jaguar dealer is on 28th street and thats like a 25 minute drive. There's kind of a neat but overpriced specialty car dealer right up the street from the Jaguar dealer to eyeball stuff at.

I work in automation as a senior software engineer at an automotive supplier and my hobbies vary but include anime and cars; hence the car and anime adjacent poor joke (and no, it was not advertising, but if I had received a penalty, I'd have earned it because of the ToS). Most of my posts on here are talking Jaguars, often mechanical aspects as its financially relevant to me (because I don't like paying a dealer). Obviously I'm a little different in different places; but I work in a masculine field (IT for Mfg) and also figure this is a place of mostly men, so I don't really try to soften things, and do act and write in a somewhat masculine way. I do work on cars though and its partially because my dad taught me how and its been a way to enjoy more expensive to own cars at a bargain. I could start being more proper, softer in speech and use a purple font if you'd like. I've been here a decade and for the most part disclosing that you're female on the internet in male dominated spaces is a great way to invite unintended attention, hence why in most communities, I don't mention it, I just was comfortable here since most of the guys here are pretty decent.

80srule, are you talking about GR Auto Gallery ?
Just about used them to sell my 2003 BMW Z4, but got what I wanted locally.
I taught Vocational / Technical Education for 31 years, we always had females in our programs, would always recruit "non traditional" students.
Some of my best students in Architectural Design & Drafting were the females. We had some great female welders go through our programs also.
Glad to see you're doing what you enjoy and are good at.
