Sorry to hear. plenty of threads on this and no real fix for it. mine I really denty sharply and I cannot remedy it. Somebody who had a lighter dent was able to lift the dent with strong tape, here called gorilla tape. he used a blow dryer to heat the tape and worked it into the creases of the badge, let it cool and then pulled the ends to the sides and lifted the dent with the center of he tape. he did that some fifteen times.

I've moved your additional question about the bonnet gap to a new thread. here's a direct link to it:

A replacement badge.
I have 4 Jaguar metal badges available. They are brand new and appear to match the badge on the steering wheel. These badges are very solid and can't see how they would possibly suffer a dent.
These badges adhere to the steering wheel with the heavy duty 3M adhesive on the back. The back is flat so it will adhere without any problems.
The badge measures 2 1/2" in diameter. I am not sure if your cars have a smaller badge. On my 2009 this badge would fit well and would be slightly larger than my original size.
$12.00 + $3.00 postage to any USA address, if you would want to give it try. International postage would be slightly more.
For an outlay of $15.00 it is worth a try if interested. Send me a PM if any interest.

I suspect the previous owner of my XKR had this problem and pryed the logo off, thereby breaking whatever clips were holding it. Now those pieces of clips are just rattling around in the airbag assembly. He probably replaced it with an aftermarket emblem, because it seems like a solid piece of plastic in my car that would be impossible to dent. I also see some slight glue residue on the edges of my emblem.
I'm not so concerned about it cosmetically, but from a safety standpoint, that solid plastic decal will probably hit me in the face at 200 mph if the airbags ever deploy...

I have not seen the steering wheel emblem in RED.
There are vendors/sellers that claim they have the RED steering wheel badge available, HOWEVER, when you look at the item these are Center Caps for wheels usually 58mm in diameter to fit the OEM wheel and they push into the center of the car wheel.
Perhaps someone can track down the Red steering wheel badge if they are made. I am not sure of a part number.
The ones I have will work for a flat surface and are high quality, not plastic.
There is no way for the ones I have available to dent on the surface.
Also, I am not sure how these steering wheel badges come off the middle of the steering wheel. The ones I have available are simple to apply as they have the heavy duty 3M adhesive backs for easy application to a flat surface.
If I find any Red Steering Wheel badges I will post the information here.
