Xkr undertray fixings
Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping that someone out there might be able to help me identify a part number. My car is a 2010 XKR with the Speedpack. I've just removed both plastic undertrays but (thanks to our salted roads during winter) the two bolts that hold the rear undertray have snapped off. The two bolts screw into welded nuts located on what look like bracing bars. My initial thought was to drill out the bolt remnants, having unbolted them from the car. The other solution is to fit a pair of secondhand bars (if they're not too expensive) but I cannot find a part number (I did have a copy of the Jaguar EPC but it has recently stopped showing diagrams - which may be down to Adobe Flash Player no longer being supported ???). Any advice would be gratefull appreciated - with regards the part number and if there is a solution to the diagram problem. Thanks in advance.

US dealers still show parts diagrams on their parts websites. Try this dealer:
https://parts.jaguarvirginiabeach.com/
Although the undertray is no longer available, you may be able to locate the part numbers for what you're looking to replace.
Go to the website, enter your year and model, and search for "undertrays". Related parts will also be listed. Click on the boxes at the bottom to enlarge the parts diagrams.
Of course, shipping from the US is expensive, so check with Forum Sponsor SNG Barratt as they're in the UK. Mention that you're a Forum member and ask if they'll give you a discount. Be sure to check other local vendors, as they might have lower prices.
Good Luck!

Are these what you need? : C2C28406 and C2C32663: Spring nut and screw respectively. These hold the undertray and the oil undershield together ... the spring nut fixes itself into a square'ish hole in the underchassis. (addendum: I just found out that you will need a washer for the screw ...)

Thanks ejjbee,
The problem I have isn't due to such a clip, its bolts that secure the rear tray to the brace assembly - there is a welded nut on the braces which the 10mm bolts screw into (I think the clips you refer to are at the point where the front and the rear undertrays join, under the subframe). Unfortunately, the bolts they fitted are longer than they need to be, probably around 2cm long, and extend beyond the nuts meaning that they corrode and, as you try to undo them they become tighter in the nut and, in my case, snap. I'm planning to replace said bolts with shorter stainless ones (something I try and do with all bolts/nuts/washers on our cars to prevent such mishaps). I've got to get the remains of the old bolts out first of course. Thank you for your advice

Thanks GGG. I think the bolts I refer to are number 7 on the diagram (as mentioned above, they bolt into captive nuts fixed to the braces). I'll probably end up removing the braces in order to drill out the remnants, before replacing with stainless steel versions (Don't you just love the fact that our UK cars get doused in salt every year - lol !!). Thank you for your advice.

LATEST UPDATE:
Pleased to report that following the link provided by u102768 I now have images again on my downloaded JEPC - Thanks ever so much for that !! Having now trawled through the parts catalogue, however, I can find no trace or mention of the 'A' Frame to which the rearmost undertray is bolted. As I mentioned in my original posting, my car was fitted with the Speedpack (it was, I believe, also a Jaguar Press car) and I'm wondering whether this 'A' frame was an experimental item to stiffer the car up ??? I've attached a picture of said frame (which requires a good wire brushing and being treated/sprayed before being refitted). I have managed to drill out the two broken bolts, which will be replaced with stainless steel.
On the attached picture the red arrows show where the broken bolts were fitted. The blue arrows show where the 'A' frame is bolted to the floor using M10 flanged bolts, and the black arrow show where it is bolted (again with M10 bolts) to the rear of the subframe. As previously mentioned I intend fitting rubber washers between the frame and the car floor, to prevent a reaction.
Does anyone on the forum recognise this frame, or is it a one-off ??
