Default Boot locks fail to open

Hi
I recently had an issue with the boot locks , button depressed and only one side of the boot was released with the other remaining firmly locked, I looked on the internet for guidance and was surprised to see very little information. The cure however was quite simple , get someone to operate the push button and with a torch watch to see what is operating or not on both left and right locks, on the FHC the fold down panel giving access to the boot area from inside the car is the only way to see inside the boot area.
In my case the righthand lock was operating correctly but the lefthand lock catch was failing to release , so with one person outside at the rear of the car operating the boot release button i reached in with a 2 foot long blade screwdriver and lifted the latch and the boot opened, once open you can work out and fix the problem with the operating cables and set up and test before re closing the boot.
