determining factory xk150 parts

Should the original factory NOS Jaguar XK 150 parts say "Genuine Spares Jaguar Daimler" with the part number on the white sticker in black letters? I had bought an unopened BD 12496 medallion from a gentleman some years back, and he said it was an original Jaguar factory part and not a Jaguar spare from an aftermarket company.
Thank you for your help, Jaguarcraver

Jaguar purchased Daimler in 60/61 but it was a while until the spare parts bags reflected this. That said the last XK150 was built in 1960 and some say 61 so the spare parts could be in a Jaguar Bag or a J/D bag as spare parts were provided for quite a while. There are tech bulletins in the late 60s regarding XK150s.

Fraser Mitchell, I didn't get a picture taken. Thanks anyway for offering assistance.
George Camp, It is indeed in a plastic bag with Jaguar and Daimler on the bag. I was hoping it wasn't a real late part, and maybe had some period age. Thank you.
