I want an XKR!!
Hey All,
I've owned a Jaguar X type in the past, as seen in my signature, then moved on to an AMG Benz.
I'm actually thinking about going back to Jaguar for an '05 or 06' XKR.
After seeing the picture below, I was convinced. - I think....

What are the maintenance costs on this car? Is it similar to an XK8. My dad has an XK8 so if so, I've got a good idea.
How robust is this car?
To be honest, my benz is far more robust than the X-Type I owned. At 90k miles, the car is literally rock solid. - Something my Jag definitely wasn't.
However, Jags just have a charm to them.
EDIT: does this car have a limited slip diff? It better...

Maintenance is very similar to the XK8 and a well maintained one is pretty solid. They do have soft bushings that give up after a number of miles/years but poly bushes are available and do wonders for the feel.
Sorry, no LSD from the factory, would have made it too close to big brother Aston. There are some options available, however.

Quaife won't actually sell you the part. There's some UK site that has exclusive rights.
Quaife will just run you around in circles for a week or two before saying, "sorry, it's not available". After dealing with them, I will never, ever spend a single sent with those worthless !@!#!@@$.
Sorry for the extreme French, but they seriously dicked me around.
