Interesting read. Count me in, I never knew that the OEM gauge was set up in a self destruct mode. I just had a gauge for Trans fluid and engine temp put on one of my other cars which only had idiot lights as warnings, which was too late and fried my transmission.

For anyone else like test point, who ALREADY owns RealGauge for the coolant gauge, AND has 3-gauges (not navigation) in their vehicle, I will substitute the oil pressure upgrade kit for their RealGauge as the drawing prize.

 

I'm definitely on board for this one. Ever try to read the Torque app on your smartphone at highway speeds?

Was going to say " I honestly can't believe....." but it would've been a lie.


I've came to the conclusion it seems that some just see FREE and stop reading?
There's very basic requirements to enter, basically own one of the said vehicles, make a post and YOU MUST have your vehicle details, either in your signature or in your profile, preferably both, or you will NOT BE ENTERED, see rule #5 below....


5. All entrants must display qualifying vehicle model details in their post or signature. No vehicle details = No entry.

 

If I had one of these, BRG my 2003 with cashmere interior would be complete! I've already fixed the top-down hydraulics and the steering-coluuumn positioning glitch, the headrest up-down failure, and added hands-free bluetooth, so Real Gauges would bring it home.
