If they don't want my anglo-saxon input - their words, not mine - then it's their loss.

I have always maintained that France would be a great place to live if only it wasn't populated by the French, lol!
That's quite ironic, they are sneering at your Anglo saxon input then jumping into their Anglo Saxon cars. Sacre Bleu!

Ditto to all the good things said about JaguarForums. But Keith, I suspect the "drama" will pick up a bit once the college football season begins here in The Colonies.

True. I think we are about due to win another national championship…sadly it won't be this year. A Big Ten championship (in our first year in the conference) along with a Rose Bowl victory will have to do for now Go Big Red!

My thoughts exactly. I thought they would have been delighted to have an 'Anglo-Saxon' member who could give them a few ideas from across the Channel/Atlantic

Thumbs down

Well, about a month ago I noticed there was some discussion on the French forum on my remote top controller. I decided to join. The moderator warned me that the forum was non-commercial. I told him that to was just there to answer questions. He said OK, since there was a lot of interest in the topic, as long as I just answered questions. I agreed to just answer questions and my account remained active for a while.

Yesterday, I got an automated notice of activity in my thread. I went to log on. Guess what....BANNED !

Wow.....I'm sure you were careful too White XKR
Strange setup!

I think we're quite lucky here in that the mods tend to really only deal with what needs dealing with and don't often jump in where not required

As far as we're concenred it means you're here more often hopefully, and that can only be a good thing

Foolish Frogs! Ribbit, ribbit.

BTW, I should have some fun today - - - going to be 75 degrees and sunny at quitting time and mine is the first car in my row out in the parking lot. Time to impress the masses.

Oh! so this is your one sunny day per year! You should take advantage of it!

I love visiting the Pacific Northwest, but I couldn't stand living there.

So, I've been messing around on two threads and got them mixed up. My "impressing the masses" statement has to do with dropping the top via remote fob from about 50 feet away (as well as just the overall sexiness of the car). Getting too old to multi-task - gotta work one thread at a time.

For the record, the most fabulous time of the year starts today - cool mornings and nice afternoons. They are predicting 80s for the next 2 weeks and we are going to wind our way up the North Cascades hiway tomorrow to a cabin in the mountains. Yeah, it's crummy weather a lot of the time, but no extremes and times like this make it worth it.

Cheers,

Frog, too bad before you closed your account on the French forum, you didn't ask them this:
Q. Why are the streets of Paris lined with trees?
A. Because the Germans like to march in the shade!
(A joke from an old Tiger Tank driver.)
