06 - DSC Switch & Switch Cluster
I have a query for you guys. I recently had an issue where the DSC switch and the hazards switch in the switch cluster became non-functional.
These are part of the multi-group switch cluster above the stereo. The dealer replaced the cluster group and the switches seemed okay.
So 3 days after getting the car back, I am driving at night with the top down and the heat cranked. For kicks I shut off the DSC switch. The switch seemed sticky. It functioned once, and then stopped functioning. I spent a little bit of time messing with it, but the switch would not function.
The following day I messed with it again, and the switch movement had a different feel.
I checked the switches at night and when the lights are on they seem to get quite warm. I was wondering if anyone elses switches get warm, and get excessively warm when the heat is turned on. Warm enough to affect the switch movement.
Thanks
Dave
