any help on a jaguar specific code reader for a 97 xk8. seems all I can find doesn't read jag codes only generic ones. thanks

Generic code readers will only read the generic OBDII codes. You need something that is specifically designed to read Jaguar codes if you want more than basic OBDII. I use a clone Mongoose cable with the Jaguar software loaded on a laptop.

 

where can I get the jag software cheap? everyone is promoting all sorts of readers/.scanners but they dont read specifics

im pretty sure it wont work on a 97
