Default 20" Perseus wheels bought from JgaXkr =)

I've had these for a couple of months and finally got the tires that I wanted to be molded, then put on. These are Hankook Ventus V12 tires, freshly molded from the factory. I opted to wait for fresh ones since the majority of units that were left on the store shelves were about 2 years old. My rear tires were molded about 3 months ago and my front tires were molded about 2 weeks ago.

JgaXkr sold me the awesome wheels (thank you, sir).

I am amazed at how much newer the 2000 looks with the 2006 BBS Perseus 20" wheels in place. I also have the 2006 rubber wheel spats. Now that these larger wheels are on, I can install the huge Brembo brakes and rotors!

The ride with these wheels and tires is really smooth and the grip is incredible. I'll take a few corners tomorrow to 'get the feel' for them. Launches are greatly improved, too.

255/35-20 front tires
285/30-20 rear tires

Heading off to the tire store:

Up on the rack (bye, bye bald tires):

Look at the sunlight shining off of that Perseus wheel, aw, YEAH!

Aw, man, there's some MEAT on those rear wheels now:

Getting the 'go' juice:

Looks so much better, and perfect if slightly lowered as well.

Yes, you guys are right. I'll lower the ride height soon. Right now, it's a bit like a Hot Wheels car.

Very nice choice and compliments the car nicely. More of an enhancement and looks like a factory option (which I guess it is in a way).

I likes 'em. Enjoy!

Jeff, if you are going to go low, and I assume that would be at the same time as the Brembo install, then be sure to check out / replace all the bushes, and maybe think about changing the sway bars / anti-roll bars at the same time. I mean while it's in bits, do the lot so you don't have to come back & do it again later.

P.S. I'm so ******* jealous of you & your car....

P.P.S. you need to update the pic in you signature...

Cambo351, thanks for the compliment... and you were right is WAS time to update my signature picture. That is now done. After I get the new brakes installed and perhaps a minor lowering job, I'll update it again. =) Next year it will have a fresh new silver paint job, then it will be updated AGAIN! Wahooooo!

You should really update those taillights. Since that's all anyone is likely to see after all your mods, you want them to look nice!

I actually like the stock rear brake lights, but I do find the newer jeweled lenses attractive. It will probably happen.

Jeff-

Take it from someone who upgraded his early taillights to the later jeweled style...do it. It updates the look of the entire car, and once you see the newer lights on your ride, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Personally I prefer the jeweled/smoked taillights that were factory supplied on the Victory Edition/4.2S models.
