Default 2001 XK8 just completed upper and lower timing tensioner rebuild, car now wont start

purchased this vehicle about 3 months ago. just replaced the primary and secondary tensioners, water pump, thermostat housing, new plugs. everything went fairly smooth, no major issues. car had no issues before we began, no codes, running well. upon completion, cant get the thing to turn over. checked the schrader valve on the fuel rail , showing n o fuel pressure at all. fuses and relays appear to be ok, inertia switch hasnt been tripped. any thoughts on cause and solution regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated. thanks

wont turn over? or wont start?. did you remember to remove the timing peg on the flywheel and put the sensor back in? you should have tried to turn it over on the starter first with the fuel pump relay removed to build up some oil pressure to preset the tensioners. Then put it back and try a start. Not sure if you have done that?

It could be the fuel pump fuse, relay or the pump itself. The fuse is a 20 amp located in the trunk and the relay is there also. Swap the relay with another one and check the fuse.
