I have read the threads on "Low Coolant" which is my problem. I see that they recommend "Orange antifreeze, coolant" and I know the jaguar stuff is very expensive.
Someone recommended the Orange coolant from Auto Zone, I went there today and their orange coolant is "Prestone Dex-Cool for GM motors???


I purchased a gallon already pre mixed, just want to know if this is the CORRECT COOLANT for my Jag before I put it in !!!!!!!!

That is correct, sir.

 

Going by colour alone can get you into trouble. Always go by the specification on the back of the bottle and make sure it matches whats stated in the owners manual.

 

It's green in mine - and the Jag dealer put it in.

 

A great segue to mention the fact that different model years required different coolants. As mentioned above, follow the specifications for YOUR car.

the orange coolant looks green depending on where youre looking at it in, and light. Its still orange.
