Per RJ, I started a new post with research on the conductor plate part numbers, and ended up collecting all the part numbers for the whole job, along with an index of links from our forum and from BenzForum, which has all the DIYs. BTW, the replacement was very straightforward. And the valve body doesn't weigh that much (someone on the Benz forum estimated 30 lbs, but it's more like 10 lbs) so you don't need to work out for a month bench-pressing in order to get the job done. Shifts nicely now!
