You are 100% correct, we are always looking for difficult ways to do things it seems.... I only played with mine for about 4 hrs before I broke them off.....

Sam I recon you saved me about $1600.00

I watched your video and attempted it myself. Mine is an XKR (2004) so the pump is different. I peered down in the fuel tank after hrs of fighting with the rear fuel line connection.... When I looked in there I saw a white piece of plastic on top of the pump that had slid about 1/2" of its seated position. You could see the O-ring hanging out. (I believe it to be part of the regulator). Squeazed it back together and secured it with stainless wire. Buttoned everything back up and Walla, she purrs like a kitten. Your video, and the tool you showed, saved my rear.

Do not feel bad!! These can be a real bear to work with. I spent 1/2 day with my Corvette. SOmetimes they come right off, others you have to really work it.
