Hard Tonneau cover
I've clearly been having too much expensive fun with my car. After hitting a couple of $400 curbs with the new wheels decided to have them powder coated back with color matching internal hubs. Then the brake calipers looked like crap so had them painted black and the disk rotors (which are now cross drilled) trimmed in black as well. I’ve finally got the dash looking good (all carbon fiber wrapped) and the Kenwood Double Din Excelon sound system (replaced all speakers, amp) with nav is working like a charm. Have a full halo light set up in front but not happy with the grill lights so will be messing with that some more. Next step is to have a graphic artist put a cat emblem on the hood and then to fully trim out the engine. Pictures below (the before pictures are at the end for reference):

That is from Mina Gallery they can do it body color, black, or like mine it carbon fiber. (That's the expensive one).

Yep, but I like blue
Normally I have them set for blue. Also the lower lights sequence like the Audi lights, kind of makes a cool heartbeat bounce over the headlight washers.

Tailight Mod Pictures back from shop
Was just sent the pictures of the modified taillights which are in the mail to me. Figured I'd share. I'll post final pictures when I get these puppies installed in a couple weeks. I also included some shots of the headlight mod with before the glass was glued back on.

explains to us the exact steps to remove and what do you use to glue.

No idea, these are sent out to a paint shop that handles all of that. They do a lot of these but I've spoken to other paint shops and apparently this is something that is relatively common when doing some types of collision repair. This particular shop specializes it doing lights, they aren't fast nor cheap but they do nice work.

I love those tail lights!
Can't wait to see what is all looks like lit up at night.
Did you end up keeping the light bar on the bumper?
I liked the idea about placing it behind the rebar, that would probably look nice.
Where did you get those hood grill inserts? I saw them in one photo and they looked like the 2010 grill inserts.

Light bar is off at the moment but a different Light bar is going back on same time the Tailights are installed, I also have a pair of LED fog lights that Paragon put together for me along with an aluminum bumper. With the Billet grill now I should get a blue glow rather than the Christmas tree look I had. We'll see.

tail lights, rear seat delete/subs, led fog lights, dash swich move
Next set of projects is nearly complete. Rear seat is out replaced by two 10" subs, rear lights have halo treatments and full LE replacement w/blackout, Paragon sent me a set of the LED fogs, and I moved the second bank of switches to the center console. Pictures below:

New Exhaust
OK the new exhaust is in, some rattles and heat/cool adjustments to make but it sounds amazing. Even the Jag guy in the next shop over that hates mods came over and said the result sounded wonderful. 2.5" front to back. Here are the before and after pictures, Franken exhaust first then the beautiful new MacLeod exhaust. Only issue was the exhaust had to be routed around the special frame support that some (but apparently not all) convertibles get and then adjusting for the initial heat expansion. Pipes are so pretty it is a shame they are under the car.

Intake Issues
Paragon built me a beautiful intake but the problem is its not fitting. We've adjusted it to get the hood closed but now the air intake side is too far forward to make a bend into the wheel well. Suggestions appreciated. I think we are going to try to replace a length of this pipe with a large silicon hose in order to get the angle right but the fit is really tight.

Just looking it seems like the section with the bend might need to be rotated a few degrees where it's welded to point more down. And the bend should be right around 45deg so that it tucks snugly into the shock tower curve.
Not the best angle in the picture picture but this is what my silicone tube looks like:
Even with the silicone it took some fiddling to get it in there so that it didn't hit the inside of the bonnet.

There is not a lot of room to play with and I take it you have removed the piece of inner wing between the old intake section to the light unit?
When I made this pipe I did have it fitting perfectly but it was a 4.0 and not a 4.2, the position of the throttle body maybe different, cant say I have ever check one side by side.....
