Thanks guys! It's only the third car I've pushed beyond 200K. The others were an '83 280ZX 2+2 and an '84 BMW 635. Both were very nice rides as well. And as is always the case, it does take some TLC and some occasional down time to do it.
For those of you looking forward to this, I'll give you one piece of advice, when something breaks or needs to be replaced, I not only replace that item, but everything I can touch along the way. This is mostly gaskets, hoses and belts of course, but for example, I also sent out my fuel injectors for refurbishment when I replaced the valley hoses. I "should" have rebuilt my supercharger at the time as well, and I know I'm going to be kicking myself over that someday.
But the absolute best thing you can do is: DRIVE THE CAR (Ridiculously simple, ain't it? - lol)

long miles
I got numbers match 1997 Xk8 Coupe with 285k KM's renewed gearbox. Waiting for diff side bearings/seals cheange. At 252k I checked piston connection rod crank end. And I'm sure my spare crankshaft will go in at 300k KM's, with all new lower bearings. But with my driving that will be in 3 years maybe.

Congrats!
Am now approaching the 300Kmiles on my car (only 13K to go). The gearbox I use now was bought with about 120Kmiles, and has done now more then 140Kmiles after the strengthening with all the extra power I have. Only the conductor plate needed replacement some time ago.
The Mercedes technician who had strengthened my box, said he had seen many that approached 300Kmiles (mostly taxies) when services well (so regular oil changes).
So you may have to prepare for other stuff to go 1st ;-)
