As many of you know the early XKRs had the Mercedes 722.6 transmission. I have an leak on the manual shaft shifter seal (see item 40/41 on attached diagram) which is a $15 part from the local Mercedes dealer.
My problem is the Jag dealer won't work on it they will only replace the transmission and the Mercedes dealer won't work on it because it's a Jag.

I took it to a local German car specialist and they said they would only look at it if it were on a Mercedes vehicle and the other two independent transmission shops I went too went pale in the face at the thought of working on it.
I have no problem pulling the pan, valve body and the shaft leaver. It looks pretty straight forward but if anyone could add any info it would be appreciated as always. 
