97 XK8 convertible won't close - Solved

I fixed my problem with my 97 XK8 rag top.
No owners manual & broken socket for Allen key to manually open or close rag top latch.
The top was resting on the locked latch. The headliner socket for the Allen Key broke. Which is to say, the Allen key doesn't work. The rear windows won't close.
The solution.
I stuck 2 books forcing the top open a couple inches. I forced the right and left ram locks open by pushing up. The ram locks are on the right and left side of the center latch. It is where the post from the top lock into the headliner.
I used a screw driver to open the center latch by pushing it up. I turned on the car & hit the button. I heard the chimes & the top lowered. When I hit the close switch, everything closed.
Works great now.
You are Welcome! LOL
