97 xk8 drivers window and mirror problem
I have a 1997 xk8 and before i did some modifications all was well. I put scissor doors on it and now I have limited control on the drivers side (LHD). the window will drop when handle is pulled but will not return up when door is closed. It works up and down with the switch fine and even after resetting the windows it still doesnt want to return to the up position. The passenger side works fine. Also the mirrors on both sides only go down and to the right. NO left or up on either of them. I replaced the drivers switch assembly but didnt correct the problem. I saw that there is a drivers door control module in the door is this the problem or is it fuse related?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum,
Your window has probably lost its memory.
Put the key in the ignition to position 2.
Hold the window switch in the down position until you hear a faint click.
Power the window up and hold the switch until you hear another faint click.
You should then have problem solved, if not, try again.

Welcome to the forum matrixtinter,
Once you've eliminated faulty limit switches and harness breaks, then the Door Module has to be next on the troubleshooting list.
