Be very careful with aftermarket glass. Most of it is made in China now. The glass is inferior, may come wavy, and doesn't have the hardness of the OEM glass. I had the windshield replaced in '87 XJ6 and the replacement glass was horrible. I finally found a new old stock Triplex XXX windshield. They aren't made anymore so I was very fortunate.

I had the glass replaced on mine by Safelite back at the beginning of the year. It's non-oem but I'm happy so far, especially since I had to pay out-of-pocket (it came to around $300). I was a bit concerned because I'd read about distortions in non-oem glass but there's not a ripple that I can see.
The only issue is to make sure they have the clip kit and the gel thing for the rain sensor. We had to go around a few times with that (worked out though, they didn't charge me for the clip kit).
