ABS light on now no trck control
hi
new problem to my cat xk8 2002
i change the speed sensor in the last month and the light dont flash again
so this morning the light is on again
last time the code was C1155 and C1233
dont know what a can do
I spay some contact cleaner on the connector near the hood but still light on
what I can do ?
need to go to the garage to fix it ?
If the brand for the speed sensor is important may be it's not the good one ?
or the module is in fault ?
thank you

Had the same problem
On my car a 2000 XK8 my ABS system failed with a C1155 code. Both of the codes you have point to a problem with the left front wheel system. I think the easy way to resolve the issue is to get a workshop manual. The manual will take you step by step for each code to resolve the issue. In my case it turned out to be a bad cable. Using the manual will save you both time and money. I purchased mine on eBay in CD PDF form for I think $15. There are 3 manuals and you need the one that covers 1999 to 2003 , AJ27 engine cars.
Good Luck

Hi,
the DTC codes indicate an issue with the front left sensor:
Could be several things. I suggest you swop the front LHS sensor with the RHS and see if the code changes (C1145).
If the fault moves with the sensor, then suspect the sensor.
If not, check the wiring and connectors.
Did you use an OEM sensor?
David D, you beat me to it...

When I had the classic problem with my ABS module (http://jagrepair.com/ABSModuleRepairs.htm|) it always gave me a front left sensor code for some reason.

I put a Abs Wheel Speed Sensor Holstein 2Abs1027
I hire a guy to do some test and told me the signal from the wheel is good to the connector
but I dont think he switch the speed sensor to test it good ideal to do that !!!!
the guy suspect the cm
how I can know if this is the cm default !!!
