Airbag B2291

I had the airbag warning light flashing 2-7 code B2291. The local Jag specialist put a replacement passenger occupancy seat sensor in but it still had the error code. He said he thought it might reset itself after a while, and over Christmas it changed to a 1-7 flash code. I took it back to be rescanned (the car can only display one fault at a time). They seemed to think the part they installed hadn't worked and they need to get another one.
Today I had a heavy box on the passenger seat and noticed the Airbag warning light facing the passenger (above the glovebox) came on. This would indicate to me that the occupancy sensor is working as it doesn't come on when the seat is empty. I am thinking the problem may be further down the line. According to the wiring diagram the sensor plugs into a weight sensing module. Does anyone know if these are still made by Jaguar (ford), and do you think this could be the problem?
Thanks for reading to the end. Any suggestions welcomed.

If you haven't read this TSB http://www.jagrepair.com/images/TSB/...sh%20Codes.pdf you might find it helpful.
One thing to note is that there is no mention of a 2-7 flash code and another is that there are quite a number of SRS faults associated with the 1-7 flash code. To narrow down the 1-7 faults requires the Code PID (No, me neither) but it sounds like it needs an advanced type of scanner to get the full info!
