Hello, suddenly the airbag warning light came on in 1999 XK8. Three times it flashes the sequence 1-2 and then it stays on. Do you know what this code indicates? Thanks

I had the same problem with my 2006 for the passenger air bag. Jag dealer said the problem was in wiring harness and could not be replaced. After staring at the light for several days of driving, a small piece of black tape, strategically placed over the light solved the problem.

 

NO - the OP dneu is showing a 1999 XK8 which predates introduction of SRS (Supplementary Restraint System).
