Powder Coat Calipers
Jeff, just a suggestion while paint is good, Powder coat would be way better!
If you are going to the trouble of painting and you don't need the brake installed immediately you would be much better off powder coating the Calipers.
If you do paint, I would also reccomend g2 caliper paint many colors to choose from, including "obnoxious bright red".

Highway run
So, yesterday I went past a radical supercharged Mustang on the highway and blipped the throttle for fun. He got onto my XKR's rear shortly after that and when there was clear ahead of us... I nailed it.
He gave it a really good try!
He was in my draft and still couldn't match the XKR's acceleration. I was surprised! The XKR continued to drop him as he was directly behind in the vacuum and he gave up after 5 or 6 seconds which seemed like an eternity. I slowed down as my exit was about a mile ahead and gave him a 'Thanks!' wave. As he went by I heard his supercharger.
This is what it was, but an owner in Tucson. 'Same color, too!

Perhaps aerodynamics also played a part since the Mustang is about as aerodynamic as a brick. =)
When we hit the gas, we were already going 70 mph. I was paying close attention to the road ahead and did not look down to see the speed after a few seconds of acceleration. It was more important to be looking ahead! =)
Edit: Just for fun's sake, I'm going to go to Don's Hot Rod Shop to buy some pure methanol so that I can make my own 50/50 mix. It will be fun to see the difference.

More methanol...
I am now batching my own water/methanol blend so that I am at a 50/50 mix. I can get the methanol reliably at Don's Hot Rod Shop in Tucson, 5 gallons for about $16. It easy to mix in an extra container, then pour into the injection tank.
The difference of having the 50/50 mix over the weaker methanol mix is significant. Yesterday, it was 106 degrees Fahrenheit. With the new meth mix ratio, the car seemed like it was being driven on a cooler day, more like an 80 degree day.
I think that I'll go ahead and order my own 55 gallon drum to keep in my factory to save some money and trips across town to get the pure stuff. I'll make sure to keep the drum grounded with a strap and the plastic bunghole cap tight when stored. It doesn't get too hot in my factory, so it should work out fine. I've stored hundreds of 55 gal drums with nasty chemicals in them throughout my career and know how to handle/dispose of them.

I've pulled the fuse for the aux heater pump on my XJR (long story behind) and I measured the engine running a few ºC cooler, and the a/c is much colder now too.
Downside is there is stuff-all heat with the heater running, not that you need a heater in Arizona...

Let's estimate.
4.2 has crank pulley/SC pulley ratio 2.1 (if you have different data please post here). That means 12.390 rpm at 5900 rpm engine speed.
Stock Eaton M112 pushes 1.835L of air per rev, so 379L per second. Volumetric efficiency (VE) od M112 is about 85%, so we have 322 L/s in a real world. That makes about 390 crank HP at stock 4.2 engine.
At the same ratio (3'' SC pulley) Kenne Bell 2.6L at 12.390 rpms gives theoretocally 537 L/s. It's VE is about 90% so it compress 483 L/s.
So KB flows 50% more air than stock Eaton. 50% more than stock 390 crank HP is about 585 crank HP. Jeff, I thinh your car is between 550-600 crnk hp. Quite nice

I like the way that you think. =)
I've seen some cars in this power range develop up to 120 more horsepower with that mixture, injected at a significant rate like I'm using (with the water/meth injection being the only change made to the engine). I've seen lower hp figures gained as well. It is easy for many injection kit manufacturers to say that the engine will be able to develop 15-20% more power (these are huge ranges of guessing). Perhaps the motor is able to develop 15% more power with the water/meth, possibly being 82-90 horsepower higher than non-injected.
Perhaps our 'bench dyno' that we're using in this commentary now has the engine developing somewhere between 630 - 690 horsepower. Hmm, this is fun!
I typically drive in Tucson where it is hot and the elevation is 2600 feet or so, bringing that hp number back down, but that affects all the cars in the area.
When it is 110 degrees Fahrenheit outside, I pity these guys --->
All of the dynos are gone from Tucson. I'll have to drive up to Phoenix to get a real test done. Perhaps, I'll do that in the late Fall when the temperatures are back down to 80 degrees or so.
This short video shows my fiancee, Kate, driving the XKR home last night. She had forgotten her scrunchie thing that would have allowed her hair to be in a pony-tail, so she drove with the windows up. Hah! She's terrified of accidentally hitting the gas pedal too hard, she's seen how I drive.

Avos hasn't broken his yet, so we're probably ok.
The MB 5spd box is built like a tank. The ZF in the 4.2 cars is a little less robust, but I'm betting on general German over engineering and the fact that Ford but it in a lot of big SUVs and trucks without having problems.
I'd guess how you drive will make more difference than anything else. Abuse is abuse, whether it's 400 or 600hp, and that's the sort of thing that breaks u-joints.
