Woke up this morning and saw this...
Ugh! Snow!

Here are some more pictures from today...
The waking up shot.
The bright shot.
The trance.
Angular.
"Daddy, I'm not impressed".
Running daughter, hidden Jaguar

First snowman...

We actually had a few snow flakes last week in central Illinois. Florida and Hawaii are looking good.

I'm hoping for a SNOWLESS winter. We get those every so often.

I was in Ottawa last week and saw some of the white stuff. I'm ready for winter but more like the kind we experience here in northern Texas.

Default Snow and Kitty...

I bought a 1989 300E Mercedes from an old friend a neighbor for next to nothing. Originally bought it for the kids, but soon realized this thing was too pristine to risk it at the hands of my inexperienced drivers.

Did a little polishing, cleaning and detailing and it is amazing machine. Pedigree and class to boot. It is red (yes it looks good) while the jag is green and the combination makes this sailor smile...port and starboard cars!

Apparently the "W124" model is bullet-proof and is proving itself so.

Came with a new set of winter tires...guess what I will be driving when the snow flies...?

I am so not looking forward to it but you know... I put snow tires on this thing and it should be better than the Camaro... mind you it does have less backseat room for a kid decked out in a snowsuit and big boots... but it's warmer, has heated seats and the always lovely (especially in Canada) heated windshield.
