Default Another little boost pressure gauge project.

Just for the fun of it I wanted to have a boost pressure indication. I did see several options here on the forum but wanted something without repositioning trip computer buttons, and not something on the A-post.
I did choose to put a mechanical pressure gauge where the clock is normally.
Have used existing pointer from the deleted clock.

That is some awesome, delicate work. Now if only my engine was boosted....

Beautiful Job! I like it but this is an Alternative that works pretty good also!

Billy Clyde @ Cinco Ranch!

Thanks both!
My indicator might not be the most accurate, but hey mechanicals have their avantages as wel😉.
And basics came from a 16€ part, just added some engineering.

Ekskaar,

Question Please? Where or How does your system get it's pressure signal? Do you have a Vacuum hose and if so where do you hook into the system? Not being an Engineer like you, I'm just double checking where your signal comes from.....? The Controller not only gives me the Boost Pressure but I can set the System to change the Pressure at which it turns on the Injector, also the secondary Injector...

Thanks!

Hi Billy, my indicator is the simplest there can be.
It would be posible to put a T in the fuel regulator hose probably, but I was concerned about a possible delay in fuel pressure switching to high pressure by that higher air volume in the hose.
So I drilled a hole in left intercooler next to TB inlet.. (to put in the low tech boost pressure indicator hose😂.)

Ekskaar,

Nice job! I wonder if that might not be a better way of doing it? Hmmm!

Thanks!
